I need a new gaming computer. Looking for high end parts, going with a GeForce 9800 GX2 1GB DDR3 and need a mobo and proc to fit it. Everything else has been purchased (excepting ram pending mobo). Looking to spend about 300-400$ for mobo and proc. Any suggestions?

If you're primarily using the computer for gaming, I would go with the e8500 processor. If you use a lot of applications that support quad, then go wtih the q6600. The 8000 line is also incredibly easy to overclock. However, if you plan to go that route I would get an after market cooler.
