hey all
well i just got a shullle x pc for free and it work but now my problem is ..... dont laugh plz ...... i did the hole proses of elimination but cant find it what happens is i will plug it in and it will not turn on so i un plug it and plug it back in and so on tell it wors ( yeah wtf ) and then when it powers on it will run like a freaken champ tell i turn it off again ..... i tred more then 5 power cords .... have not tryed power sup. donno if my 500 watt will blow it to bits ..... tryed new button..... tryed hard booting it ... any help would be sweet plz let me know what you think ... yes i am kinda a noob on this part of pc's thanks p42 junkies
Try a new PSU. Don't worry if the wattage rating is higher, it won't cause any problems, that rating is the maximum output. So as long as the PSU can put out at least what the current one will, you'll be fine.

Post back if it works or not.
had a similar problem a while back. The problem wasnt the PSU it was the fact that the power button cable going to the motherboard wasnt in all the way. Go through the case and make sure every cable is fastened securely. Power, board, IDE/SATA, etc.
Have something happening that is just as odd with our old box that was at XMission. wouldn't stay powered on with everything connected, as soon as I unplugged the network cable, it stays on. It's something with the particular switch I'm using, I plug it into another and it works no problem.
ok i took all of the suff out ang gutt the thing and put it back to gether and still sam thing now all i need to do is try new psu and see if that works... thank you guy ill let you all know soon thanks all

ok well i found out it is the psu and now just having a hard time finding one so if any one can help me find one thats 250-300 watt i would be greatful thanks all for you help
What form factor? You mentioned it's a shuttle, is the case a mini or micro ATX? Or does it take a standard PSU?
holly crap i looked and looked on new egg and did not see it lol thanks for all your help guys you rock....... its one of them shoe box computers so i think a mini... so if any one has one that they dont need or WTS let me know thanks all you dudes rock
